Business identity
MyTopMatch is currently operated by Ivy League Resumes LLC doing business as MyTopMatch. References to “MyTopMatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy refer to that operating business.
Our privacy principles
MyTopMatch is designed around private career intelligence, permissioned professional data, and member choice. A Professional Passport is private by default. Assessment results, career intent, compensation preferences, résumé content, and Career Agent context are not public profile information.
Information the service processes
- Account information: the name and verified email made available through the sign-in method you choose, including email verification, Google, or optional ChatGPT sign-in.
- Professional information: uploaded résumés, work history, education, credentials, capabilities, achievements, and Professional Passport content.
- Career intent and assessments: role interests, compensation preferences, work model, geography, timing, priorities, constraints, dealbreakers, questionnaire responses, and versioned results.
- Product activity: recommendation history, saved opportunities, interest decisions, structured rejection reasons, and conversations with My Career Agent.
- Operational information: consent events, member audit events, and information necessary to secure, diagnose, and improve the service.
Privacy-safe audience measurement
MyTopMatch uses PostHog for limited website and product measurement. Interaction autocapture, form-field capture, exception autocapture, person profiles, and session replay are disabled. Measurement uses a session-scoped anonymous identifier and strips URL query strings and fragments before transmission. MyTopMatch does not send names, email addresses, résumé content, assessment answers or scores, compensation preferences, Career Agent messages, or free-text feedback to PostHog. Member-level research analytics remain controlled separately through the Data Rights Center.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the member experience, build and update a Professional Passport, calculate explainable opportunity matches, deliver member-requested Career Agent guidance, preserve member decisions, secure the service, and evaluate the alpha. Private assessment context and preference learning can be withdrawn independently in the member Data Rights Center.
Career Agent memory
Durable Career Agent memory is member-controlled and off by default. When it is off, the Agent may use authorized current account context to answer the immediate request, but conversations are not retained as cross-session memory. Members can clear stored Agent conversations and durable memories at any time.
Opportunity data
MyTopMatch may import publicly available opportunity information from employer career sites and supported applicant-tracking systems. Source links are retained so members can review the original posting. Imported records enter administrative review before publication.
Protected public samples
The public deliverable gallery uses synthetic identities, employers, career histories, metrics, offers, and source records. Samples are published only as limited-resolution raster images with burned-in watermarks, crops, and selected blur. No client document or complete source file is intentionally published through the gallery.
Visibility and sharing
Professional Passport visibility is private by default. Private matching, recruiter discovery, professional networking, and advisory visibility are controlled separately. Future employer or recruiter discovery requires an explicit member permission before profile information can participate. MyTopMatch does not claim that those future discovery features are currently active.
Consent and audit records
Each saved consent change is appended to a versioned consent ledger. Member privacy actions such as settings updates, exports, deletion requests, deletion cancellations, and Agent-memory clearing are recorded in a member-visible audit trail while the account remains active.
Export, correction, and deletion
Authenticated members can download a structured JSON export, correct their Passport and Career Intent through versioned workflows, schedule account deletion with a seven-day grace period, cancel a pending deletion, or permanently delete immediately after explicit confirmation. Permanent deletion removes member-owned structured data and stored résumé objects. A one-way account hash, policy version, document count, and completion time may be retained for up to 12 months solely to evidence fulfillment.
Retention
Account, Passport, intent, assessment, matching, feedback, and Agent data are retained while the account is active. Uploaded résumé files remain until the member deletes the document or account. Private Résumé Intelligence analyses, Career Document Profiles, and targeted résumé reports may also remain available while the account is active so members can reopen prior results without duplicate processing; they are included in the member export and removed with permanent account deletion. De-identified aggregate measures may be retained only when they cannot reasonably be linked back to a member. Legal holds or legally required records may create a limited exception.
Storage, service providers, and security
The service uses platform infrastructure to authenticate members, store structured account and product information, store uploaded documents, and provide privacy-limited aggregate audience measurement. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are applied, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
MyTopMatch is intended for professional and career use by adults and is not directed to children under 18.
Policy changes
This policy may change as the product expands. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. The current product controls and retention schedule remain subject to legal review before broad commercial launch.
