THE QUESTION

Which leadership behaviors feel established, and which need more evidence or development?

LRA-1.0.0-self-perception-beta

A research-beta leadership self-perception profile; readiness bands are withheld until expert-reviewed scenario evidence is available.

  • Immediate core result before registration
  • 14 response steps on the current path
  • Versioned deterministic interpretation
  • Private autosave and seven-day anonymous resume
  • No population percentile or employment prediction

WHAT THIS TOOL DOES

Self-perception is useful evidence—but it is not readiness proof.

This research-beta assessment organizes behaviorally worded self-report answers into a developmental profile. Because it has not completed expert item review and uses no independent evidence source, it does not calculate an overall readiness score or apply emerging, developing, established, or advanced bands.

This is a proprietary, transparent methodology. It is not a population norm, validated employment test, hiring prediction, or guarantee of compensation or career outcomes.

HOW IT WORKS

Interpret the source before interpreting the score.

Tool v1 · Method LRA-1.0.0-self-perception-beta
01

Use behavioral prompts

Ask about observable actions in defined leadership situations rather than diagnosing personality.

02

Score nine dimensions

Calculate a transparent descriptive dimension value from the user’s own response.

03

Check evidence source

Determine whether any non-self-report evidence supports the profile.

04

Apply the readiness gate

Without all approved dimensions, expert-reviewed items, and an independent source, return a self-perception profile only.

MEASURED OR DESCRIBED DIMENSIONS

Every signal has a defined role.

Judgment and accountability

Decision quality, ownership, escalation, and learning from consequences.

Delegation and coaching

Transferring meaningful ownership and developing others without avoiding accountability.

Strategic and organizational thinking

Connecting near-term decisions to systems, priorities, and cross-functional effects.

Communication and influence

Creating clarity, adapting messages, and building commitment without relying only on authority.

Conflict and ambiguity

Working through disagreement, uncertainty, and incomplete information constructively.

Independent evidence

Examples or external sources that could support—but do not automatically validate—the self-report profile.

DATA & UNCERTAINTY

This release is intentionally a research beta.

No scientific reliability, predictive validity, population norm, or employment outcome claim is made. Scenario and item content still requires structured subject-matter-expert review before a readiness band may be released.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Your result is not public content.

Anonymous drafts use an opaque private token and expire. Signed-in results are access-controlled, exportable, and deletable. Search engines receive only this public explanatory page—never answers, results, or uploaded documents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What the result can—and cannot—say.

Will I get a leadership readiness score?

No. The approved method requires all nine dimensions plus at least one non-self-report source, and the research items still need expert review.

What does the profile show?

It shows the relative pattern of your own behavior ratings and highlights areas where additional evidence or development may be useful.

Can an employer see this?

Not through the Career Tools result. It is private and cannot be used as an unsupported employment-selection assessment.

Are the labels validated?

No developmental band is applied in this release, and no validity or reliability claim is made.

What would make a future version stronger?

Expert item review, cognitive interviewing, accessibility testing, independent evidence options, pilot reliability analysis, and criterion studies with appropriate consent.
